The Fishing Montana's Big Horn River is rated as the top tail water fishery in the lower Forty-Eight States. Rainbow and Brown trout grow at a rate of 6 inches per year. An average 3 year old trout is between 15 to 18 inches with many over 20 inches. There are 32 miles of exceptional fishing on the Big Horn River. Our guides know the upper, middle and lower section of the Big Horn. The lower sections of the river are visited by few other outfitters. This allows our guests to utilize the whole river, taking advantage of smaller crowds or no crowds at all on lower Big Horn River. ![]()
